Raptors Defeat Warriors in Game 1 of NBA Finals

In the first-ever championship showdown between the two teams, Toronto emerged victorious over Golden State with a score of 118-109. Leading the charge for the Raptors was forward Pascal Siakam, who put up an impressive 32 points.

“I believe we performed well on our home court. The fans showed incredible support, and I just want to give a shoutout to them,” Pascal Siakam expressed in a postgame interview.

Stephen Curry contributed 34 points for the Warriors, marking their fifth consecutive appearance in the finals.

During the postgame interview, Toronto Raptors’ Small Forward Kawhi Leonard remarked, “We understand that they are human. It’s about stepping up to the challenge and competing.”

Draymond Green, the power forward for the Warriors, commented, “This city and country witnessed their first finals, and we anticipated an amazing atmosphere, which turned out to be just that.”

The Toronto Raptors will host Game 2 on Sunday at 8pm ET before traveling to Golden State for the subsequent games.
