As we step into 2019, it’s time to unveil the Way-Too-Early Top 25 College Football Rankings. Last year’s initial rankings were remarkably accurate, with six out of the top ten and fifteen out of the top twenty-five teams ultimately making it to the College Football Playoff selection.
Last year’s early favorites included Wisconsin, Auburn, USC, and Michigan State. On the flip side, teams like Florida, Washington State, Kentucky, Utah, Texas A&M, and Syracuse struggled to crack the top rankings. Here is the list of the initial top 25 for 2019:
