Novak Djokovic wins his second round match in Paris Masters

Novak Djokovic has seen to start his bid for the record-extending 5th Paris Masters title which is with the 7-5, 6-1 win. This win came against the Joao Sousa in the second round on Tuesday. During the match, serving at 5-1, Djokovic has handed a towel to a man present in the crowd, and he seemed to be unwell and wiped his forehead with it. Djokovic said that that man seems to be sweating as well as he seemed dizzy. So he needs some type of help, and he lends his towel for that. He added by saying that he is too not feeling very well in the court.

It has seen that the second-ranked Serb has set up the match point which is with an ace and he sealed the victory on the third match point when Sousa has returned a second serve long. Till now, the US Open Champion has won about four of the last five tournaments that he has entered which include Wimbledon, the US Open and Shanghai Masters.

Djokovic is now eyeing to claim the top ranking spot from Rafael Nadal at this tournament as the Spaniard has never won here. The next match of Djokovic is against the Damir Dzumhur. Dzumhmer has upset 14th seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3, 6-3 while the next player who is the big-hitting Russian Karen Khachanov has also advanced to the third round.

It has been seen that Khachanov has led 6-2, 2-0 which is against the Matthew Ebden. Nadal has returned after recovering from the right knee injury and will b effacing Spanish countryman Fernando Verdasco on Wednesday. Roger Federer is too in the second round of the tournament. Federer has led with the big-serving Canadian 11-3 overall score in the match.
