One of the star players of soccer was found dead in a bush. According to the reports that soccer player almost beheaded and his genitals were also severed.
The Sao Paulo soccer star Daniel Corrêa Freitas was discovered in a bush in Sao Jose dos Pinhais, one of the cities in Brazil located in the southernmost state of Parana on Saturday night.
A tweet made its way from Daniel Corrêa Freitas’ Serie A club, one of Brazil’s top division which was reportedly posted in the early hours of the Sunday following and confirming the worst news. The tweet read as “The Sao Paulo football club deeply regrets the death of midfielder Daniel Correa Freitas. The club sympathises and pays condolences to the athlete’s family.”
The official cause of the death of 24 years old Brazilian soccer star Daniel Corrêa Freitas hasn’t been confirmed yet. But according to a detailed report that was released in a local newspaper called Band B claimed that Daniel Corrêa Freitas was a victim of excessive torture, and then he succumbed to death.
After quoting the municipal guard, the report stated that: “ever since the body appeared, the situation around Sao Jose dos Pinhais and in several regions in Brazil, the situation has become extremely violent. The soccer player has two deeply cut wound on his neck that resulted in his head to be nearly beheaded, and his genitals were also severed.”
Later it was claimed that the civilians walking around the area had discovered the body.
The report also said that The road was quite a bit deserted and it is widely famous for dumping corpses. According to the Medical Examiner and CSI, the man was executed on the street and was dragged for around 100 feet.
In Brazil, Sao Paulo is one of the biggest and popular teams in Brazil. Before moving to Sao Paulo in 2015, Daniel began his career with Botafogo.
