As a result of this incident, the 34-year-old faces serious charges, including one felony count of ketamine possession, a misdemeanor charge for DUI with property damage, and a misdemeanor count for resisting an officer. During his court appearance last month, Jordan entered a plea of “not guilty” for all charges.

Court documents have revealed that Marcus has been grappling with “challenges related to his alcohol/substance use,” as reported by TMZ. This situation follows an incident from last summer when he was photographed by paparazzi allegedly using a powdered substance while vacationing in the south of France.

With a desire to conquer his addiction, Marcus has asked the court to mandate his participation in “Pre-Trial Substance Abuse Education” and a “Treatment Intervention Program.” According to TMZ, his attorneys have emphasized that the program would provide personal benefit while also helping the community mitigate the risk of future offenses.
The court documents indicate that Marcus “is amenable to treatment,” suggesting a willingness to seek help. Ultimately, many hope that the son of the NBA legend can find the support he needs to move forward.
