In a turn of events, Joe Burrow, the former top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, suffered a wrist injury that led to the end of his 2023 season. While undergoing rehabilitation during the offseason, the 27-year-old quarterback of the Cincinnati Bengals now has a new ambition to become a pianist.

“I’m currently learning how to play the piano, and hopefully, by next offseason, I’ll become fairly skilled at it,” said Burrow. “Managing it during the season might be challenging, but it has also aided in my wrist rehabilitation, so it’s a skill I aspire to master.”

With some downtime available, Burrow has taken up a new hobby to enhance the functionality of his surgically repaired wrist, with the added possibility of impressing others.

Looking ahead to the 2024 season, the Heisman-winning QB aims to build upon last year’s performance, as the Bengals ended with a 9-8 record following Burrow’s injury in week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Subsequently, Burrow’s fourth season fell short of the success of his second and third seasons in the league, where he made consecutive appearances in the Super Bowl (2021) and AFC Championship (2022).

During the last season, Burrow played in 10 games before his injury, passing for 2,309 yards, along with 15 touchdowns and six interceptions.
