BREAKING: ESPN’s X Accounts Are Protesting Against Elon Musk, Have Not Posted Anything Since Friday

ESPN’s accounts on X have been mostly inactive since Friday, after Disney announced it will stop advertising on the platform.

This decision came after Elon Musk’s support for posts from antisemitic and white supremacy accounts, as reported by Media Matters, which pointed to Musk’s posts and ads appearing alongside content celebrating the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler.

Some accounts are still active on the social media platform previously known as Twitter, but the primary ESPN account, as well as those of programs like NBA on ESPN, First Take, NFL on ESPN, and ESPN Plus, have not posted anything since Friday, nor have they liked or replied to any content.

Disney’s accounts have been similarly quiet on the platform, with Marvel Entertainment also refraining from posting.

Other major companies like Apple, Warner Bros. Discovery, IBM, and Comcast / NBCUniversal, have all ceased activity on X in solidarity with the strike.
