Monza pulled off a huge upset in the Italian Serie A on Sunday, beating Juventus 2-0 through goals from Patrick Ciurria and Dany Mota.

The performance was an inspired one indeed as the team was apparently promised a “bus full of sluts” if they could pull off the win. The promise was made by team owner Silvio Berlusconi, who is a former Prime Minister of Italy, as well as the former owner of AC Milan, during the team’s Christmas party last month.

You could check the motivational speech out in the video right below if your Italian’s any good.

Not only did the Monza boys go out and beat one of the biggest clubs in European football, but they also kept a clean sheet.

Even more amazingly, the team’s Twitter cheered them on with this tweet…

Berlusconi has likely put his players in a tough spot at home. Every player who participated in the win who isn’t single is going to have some explaining to do.

Did he not consider that, or did he just not care? Maybe he didn’t think they could beat Juventus? But he should have known better – a lacrosse team would have beat Juventus after such a promise.
