The Minnesota Twins from Major League Baseball unveiled fresh, modern uniforms and a new logo on Friday.

Included in the new uniform collection is an alternate home jersey that features the phrase “Twin Cities,” a nod to Minneapolis-St. Paul, also known as the “Twin Cities.”

Fans can compare the new logo with the old one to see the subtle differences.

The Twins weren’t done for the day; they traded infielder Gio Urshela, previously acquired from the New York Yankees, for minor-league pitcher Alejandro Hidalgo.

After a disappointing 2022 season ending at 78-84, the Twins embrace a fresh start with new uniforms and logo. They aim to improve upon their recent form, following back-to-back losing seasons since their consecutive AL Central division titles in 2019 and 2020. The team hasn’t secured a postseason victory since 2004, including being swept in various postseason series.

With the upcoming 2023 season, fans eagerly await to see if the new uniforms and logo bring positive fortunes to the Twins.
