## Meghan King And Jim Edmonds May Be Divorced But Bad Blood Still Remains
Even though Meghan King and Jim Edmonds are divorced, the tension between them lingers. King took a significant step by filing a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, on June 18. TMZ reported that this action was in response to alleged abusive behavior towards her.
According to court records in Missouri, the case is classified as “adult abuse [without] stalking.”
The court documents outlined that the former star of ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ sought the court order due to what she described as “frequent and consistent verbal abuse.” This abuse reportedly occurred through texts and the co-parenting Family Wizard app that they both use. The conflict seems to revolve around their shared custody arrangement, particularly concerning the pickup and drop-off schedule that Jim allegedly did not adhere to.
In response to these allegations, Edmonds’ representative, Steve Honig, stated to TMZ that the request for the restraining order was unfounded and belittles the suffering of genuine abuse victims.
A hearing is scheduled for September 19 to decide whether the restraining order will become permanent. The divorce between King and Edmonds was finalized in May 2021.
