In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Mike Tyson addressed the incident where he physically assaulted a man who reportedly threw a water bottle at him during a JetBlue flight in April. Tyson expressed regret for his actions, acknowledging that the outburst was a result of feeling irritated, tired, high, and angry.

Tyson admitted, “I was wrong, that should’ve never happened. That’s me back in my primitive child stages, I shouldn’t have done that, but I was just irritated, tired, high, and pissed off. S**t happens!”

Despite the altercation, Tyson emphasized that he did not intend to harm anyone. Both Tyson and the passenger were removed from the plane, but no charges were filed against either party.

San Mateo County District Attorney, Stephen Wagstaffe, explained in an article on TMZ that the case was dismissed due to the victim’s behavior leading up to the incident, the interaction between Tyson and the victim, as well as the mutual desire of both parties to avoid legal proceedings.

Ultimately, Tyson expressed remorse for the incident and emphasized that it was a lapse in judgment.
