The Birmingham Stallions, the only undefeated team in the USFL, recently welcomed a new addition to their offensive lineup.
Bo Scarbrough, known for his time as a running back at Alabama, has signed with the Stallions following their impressive 16-10 victory over the Tampa Bay Bandits.
Scarbrough’s role will be crucial in boosting the Stallions’ running game, as the team currently ranks in the middle of the pack for rushing yards per game and has scored only four touchdowns on the ground this season.
Upon the announcement of his signing, footage of Scarbrough on the field surfaced, showcasing his continued dedication to staying in top form.
During his college career, Scarbrough made significant contributions to the Crimson Tide, particularly during his sophomore and junior seasons. He was even named Offensive MVP of the 2016 Peach Bowl against Washington in the College Football Playoff. Despite forgoing his senior season, Scarbrough entered the 2018 NFL Draft and was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round.
In the NFL, Scarbrough spent four seasons with five different teams, primarily on practice squads. His last regular-season appearance was in 2020 with the Seattle Seahawks, where he suffered a hamstring injury that led to him being placed on injured reserve.
In August 2021, Scarbrough briefly joined the Las Vegas Raiders for a period of 10 days before being released.
