In a press release issued by his agent, Dan Lozano, Pujols stated, “After 22 years of marriage, I have decided to file for divorce from my wife, Deidre. This has not been an easy decision and has been a process over time.”
Among recent family events, Deidre had to undergo successful surgery to remove a brain tumor.
