Marat Safin, a former professional tennis player, joins the ranks of conspiracy theorists who see a larger agenda behind the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
The Russian sports legend expressed his suspicions on social media platform Instagram, suggesting that the global health crisis might serve as a smokescreen for the mass integration of microchips into individuals.
In an Instagram conversation with Russian media outlet Sports.ru, Safin, aged 40, remarked, “I think they are preparing people for ‘chipization’ [chip implants]. Back in 2015, Bill Gates predicted a pandemic, suggesting that the next threat would be a virus, not a nuclear war. There was a simulation at the Davos economic forum that foresaw this scenario. I believe there is more to the situation than what is being disclosed. Despite the alarming narratives on television that many people adhere to, I have doubts about the reality of the situation. Some fear the collapse of civilization, but I foresee a future where we will be implanted with chips.”
The former world number one and two-time Grand Slam champion went on to insinuate that there might be covert forces at play.
“By imposing global lockdowns, they have set the stage for controlling everything,” Safin asserted. “I believe there are entities larger than world leaders who hold the real power over money and world affairs, capable of easily manipulating circumstances. These shadow entities, whether you refer to them as a shadow government or by any other name, likely remain unknown to us. While the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers are recognized figures, there are shadowy figures above them.”
Regardless of Safin’s beliefs in hidden agendas, the current reality shows close to 2 million confirmed COVID-19 cases globally, with over 120,000 reported fatalities.
