In a grueling battle lasting over three hours, Federer defeated Stan Wawrinka in a tightly contested match with a score of 7-6 (4) 4-6 7-6 (5) 6-4 on court Suzanne Lenglen. Meanwhile, Nadal, an 11-time champion at Roland Garros, cruised to victory over Kei Nishikori with a dominant performance, winning 6-1 6-1 6-3 in under two hours on the main Philippe Chatrier court.
The highly anticipated semifinal clash between Federer and Nadal is scheduled for Friday, June 7th at the French Open.
