2019 NFL Draft in Nashville Breaks all Time Records

The 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville made history by setting new records for being the most watched and most attended draft ever. The event drew an average of 6.1 million viewers from various digital platforms, while more than 600,000 fans showed up in Nashville.

Recognizing the success of the event, Peter O’Reilly, NFL’s EVP of league events, commented, “This event was a huge success by all measures – from the massive turnout of fans in Nashville to the unprecedented ratings and viewership.”

The previous records for viewership and attendance were set during the 2017 draft in Philadelphia. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stated, “The draft brought forth impactful and emotional moments in cities nationwide, with the lively Nashville as a stunning backdrop for hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic fans.”

The 2020 NFL Draft is set to be hosted in Las Vegas. This marks the Raiders’ final season in Oakland before their relocation to Las Vegas.
