From all the bowl games, there have been several important takeaways. An impressive performance was seen in the second half of the Bulldogs’ victory over Hawai’i in the Bowl Sofi Hawai’i by Louisiana Tech’s cornerback, Amik Robertson, despite his smaller stature at 5 feet 9 inches and 180 pounds. His athleticism and exceptional ball skills set him apart.

Amik Robertson, recognized as an All-American freshman by FWAA last year and a first-team USA All-Conference player, seems to be heading towards a promising NFL career. His standout defensive performance, including two interceptions in the second half, showcased Louisiana Tech’s strong defensive play.

In another game, Buffalo initially had the lead at halftime with a score of 24-21. However, a fumble and subsequent recovery by Troy led to a final touchdown turning the game in their favor. Buffalo also faced turnovers, including a costly fumble in the fourth quarter that resulted in a Troy touchdown, securing a 42-32 lead.

Troy’s quarterback, Sawyer Smith, played a significant role in their victory, completing 31 out of 44 passes for nearly 320 yards and four touchdowns. The Black Knights demonstrated dominance throughout the game. Houston struggled defensively, especially with limited personnel and a missing defensive coordinator.
