Colts’ Quenton Nelson is facing a fine for his intense block on Jaguars’ Barry Church, which went viral. Despite not receiving a penalty during the game, Nelson has now been fined for the action.

The viral video of the incident has resulted in a hefty fine for Nelson. The NFL recently announced that Nelson will have to pay almost $27,000 for his block on Jaguars’ Safety Barry Church during a run play in the first quarter.

Initially, there was no penalty called during the game. It was only after the Colts shared a video of the play that it gained significant attention.
