A mere two days after the match was confirmed, Mayweather took to Instagram to clarify the situation to his fans and the public. He stated, “I want to make it clear that I, Floyd Mayweather, did not agree to an official fight with Tenshin Nasukawa.” Furthermore, he emphasized, “I am a retired boxer who earns an exceptional amount of money globally for appearances, speeches, and occasional small exhibitions.”
