Derrick Rose shows what he's capable of after scoring a career-high 50 points

On Wednesday night it just wasn’t a victory for Minnesota Timberwolves over their competitor Utah Jazz with 128 – 125. Rather, the most groundbreaking scenario of the game was that the professional basketball player Derrick Rose of Timberwolves has finally brought on his ‘A’ game and scored the highest points – 50 in his entire career. After the game concluded, the 30-year-old Timberwolves point guard was in tears as he was walking away from the court and in the meantime, the fans and home crowd present in the stadium started chanting “M.V.P.! M.V.P.!” Back in 2011, D Rose was the most valuable player, but his career was in a turmoil due to injuries.

This Wednesday night, things got better for Derrick Rose, he scored 34 points in the second half of the game and 15 points in the tight fourth quarter while the Wolves were holding the Jazz off. Scoring the basket in the last 30 seconds of the game had put the Minnesota Timberwolves in the lead along with this; Rose made two free throws in the remaining 13.8 seconds to maintain a lead of 3 points.

With only five seconds left on the timer, Rose had got his hands on the 3-point of Dante Exum’s attempt and sealed the victory. One of the biggest shots made by Rose was a corner 3-pointer, and this changed the scenario of the game as the score got tied with 119-119. This basket point gave him 44 points that were his previous career high score which he had set during the playoffs with Chicago back in 2011. Rose’s regular season best score is 42 point. Rose scored the first of the 19 points in the third quarter with which the Timberwolves took a lead of five-point and went into the fourth quarter.
