The Steelers Did Not Hear From Le’Veon Bell

Le’Veon Bell, the running back of Pittsburgh Steelers is very much expected to return much
before the Steelers start playing with the Browns on the forthcoming match on 28th October.
Nevertheless, according to the reports, the team hasn’t heard from their star player. According to
the reports by ESPN, the running back, Bell hasn’t yet reached out to the officials of the team
regarding his return date.

Bell is holding himself out as a protest of the Steelers to use the tag of the franchise on him for
the second time. The scenario marks it the second consecutive year. Bell firmly believes that the
risk of the injury in the final and last year of his contract was much better as far as payday is
concerned and he felt this is decidedly less than he deserves.

Reportedly, Bell, earlier this week has said to ESPN that he wishes to play and he will return to
playback by 28th October.

Bell told that “it to have to sit out football.” Bell also said that he wants to play and at the same
time he wants to win as well in the games as well as in the playoffs. Nevertheless, he feels that
he needs to take this stand. He also wants to know his worth as well as knows that he can tear a
ligament and at any point in time, he can get surgery. He even knows that he could not play 16
games with more than 400 touchdowns.

Bell’s wariness is justified given what happened to Earl Thomas. Thomas was in a similar
situation in Seattle. Thomas also avoided practices fearing the wear and tear of the body tissues
when he got to know that his team is not going to offer him another contract. Everybody is aware
of how talented Le’Veon is and the game that he brings to the table.
