Despite facing a significant recovery period, Conor McGregor remains embroiled in a feud with Dustin Poirier.

The former UFC Champion continues to engage in verbal jabs at Dustin Poirier and his loved ones at any given opportunity. In his most recent outburst, McGregor appeared to cross a line by posting a series of threatening tweets on Twitter.

The tweets included a photo of Poirier with his daughter, accompanied by statements such as, “I’m a dangerous man,” “Gonezo,” “I’m a nasty dude I promise you,” “Your wife is your husband,” and lastly, “Hey you guys! I don’t want to associate any negativity with my foundation so I’d like to take this chance to apologize for Dustin’s wife trying to message me privately on Instagram.”

Although the tweets have since been taken down, MMA Junkie managed to capture screenshots of them:

It’s evident that Conor McGregor is currently on a two-fight losing streak with three losses in his last four matchups. As his star power wanes, McGregor seems to understand that maintaining his status as one of UFC’s most marketable athletes hinges on his penchant for provocative rhetoric.

However, the question remains: Has he gone too far this time? UFC President Dana White appears to believe so.
