Around the country, many people can say they are working multiple jobs to make ends meet, but not many of them can say they are doing what Anastasia Lusnia is doing.

Inside Tampa General Hospital, Lusnia has been working tirelessly during 12-hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and sometimes she comes in on Sundays.

Via Fox 13 News:

“I take care of surgical patients mainly, from right when they leave the operating room to when they’re ready to leave the ICU,” explained registered nurse Anastasia Lusnia.

“It’s obviously been incredibly stressful for everyone involved, everyone that works here,” Lusnia said.

She’s been in the Vascular ICU unit for a year and a half, which makes it shocking that she also decided to follow a life long dream.

Over the summer, Lusnia started splitting her time between caring for the sick and the sidelines of Raymond James Stadium after she found out she made the Buccaneers cheerleading team after virtually auditioning back in May.

“I have danced since the age of three, so dance has always been my number one passion, performing has always been my favorite part about being a dancer,” said Anastasia. “The adrenaline, the energy, nothing matches walking out into Raymond James Stadium.”

Her first season with the Bucs turned out great as the team picked up Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski and the team qualified for the Super Bowl. She was out on the field for Super Bowl LV and watching the home team win the big game.

“And just knowing so many of my co-workers were there, the fact that the NFL honored 7,500 healthcare workers that were vaccinated to attend was just so special to me because I live in both of those worlds, so it kinda came full circle,” she said.

“It’s just been a thrill to be able to be a part of all these special, exciting times,” said Lusnia.

“I know both worlds! In the hospital I see all of the hard work that everybody has done over the past year and just how stressful it’s been and to be rewarded,” she said. “It was truly just an experience of a lifetime. The confetti dropping at the end and the fireworks where is the best part of it all just being right there.”

Auditions for next season happen in May.
